This majorly was as a result of lack of unawareness and the general presumption that women are not as important beings to be given much attention. However in todays world the womens health has been improved considerably. Women have been made aware of how to look after themselves to ensure that they are medically safe. The medical industry has gone to great heights to create awareness on reproductive women and as result many death among women and children have been avoided. However as much as they are supporting the women the medical industry has also to some extent limited the health of women. This they have done by discouraging the use of culturally relevant methods of medication.
